How Much CO2 Do Breweries Use to Meet Their Needs?

When I started the business, some of the early pilot customers here in Austin, Texas, like the ABGB and live oak and 512 brewing were really efficient. They use somewhere around three or four pounds of CO2 per barrel produced. What we learned over time is that the national average is closer to eight or nine pounds per barrel with the high end Around 21 pounds per barrel consumption. And so what that means is if a brewer is, is using less than 10 pounds per barrel they have a, you know, actual chemical shot at meeting their own needs.
