Did Columbus Kill So Many People in the First 100 Years?
In the first 100 years after Columbus landed in the Americas, 90% of the indigenous population died. So much land was abandoned to carbon sucking vegetation that it caused the earth's temperature to drop by 0.15 Celsius,. Can you imagine? Killing so many people you trigger an ice age. He wasn't even smart before we got into all the tragedy stuff. There's no genius question there. One could argue if he hadn't been so bad and killed so many people through disease. Because we wouldn't have had the African slave trade on the scale we did. And USA's history wouldn't have been as fucked as it is. Now racial history wouldn't be as messed up as it is
