I find that we're actually kind of like in two different head spaces but one of them is I know this guy he's had no contact with the scientific world his entire life and I was hoping to be a social scientist at one point. The public getting all these little glimpses of things that we don't really understand don't have any real expertise in makes it very easy to be skeptical do you see that as well kind of across the political spectrum and within politics itself as wellYeah I think we're in a very tricky position in that regard there's a Dorothy Sayers quote that I share in the book which she he likens she says you know we have a population that's literate
