The Leftover Materials From Weapons Testing Are Still Producing

The leftover materials from weapons testing is still producing. We have been generating more and more as a result of sea dumping, which was stopped in the 1980s but an awful lot of radioactive tritium was shipped into the sea. Ever since then we've had a lot of nuclear activity, nuclear power stations, nuclear generators, fuel processing, nuclear fuel production,. experiments with fission, as well as fusion, and all of these produce large amounts of tritium. Most of which now ends up into the aquatic systems because it was understood quite early on that discharges of tritiated water were causing health problems to populations.
