Nobody's making new analogue tape machines these days. If you maintain the machines we have, they can last for many years. There are several companies that do nothing but refurbish old tape machines. I just used one two days ago. We found a live recording truck that still had a multi track harness. And we rented a multitrack machine and strapped it in the back of the truck. It was able to do alive recording in, you know, a full analogue session, live recording. The only thing that isn't more expensive is time in a proper recording studio. Ye.
