The Origins of Human Anatomy
The purpose of the bladder is to attract urine and then expel it from the body, says Gallon. He thinks that without these natural powers of attraction and also repulsion, you would not be able to explain human anatomy. So he wants to hold on to the idea that the body and everything in it is to use a technical term, teleological, as a goal or a purpose.
