The Importance of Open Source Tools in Engineering

I am 100% believe in open source where we can use it. We use a cloud custodian or at least the basis of cloud custodian for some of our policies. One of the reasons why we used cost explorer was I don't have to train in most cases an engineer how to use cost explorer. If you use AWS, you already know cost explorer. So you know, you're comfortable with that. Even if maybe not necessarily the most efficient way to do it, it's efficient for them. And they do the engineers do enough in cost explorer to get what they need.
