The President's First Trip to Mississippi as President

This is the first time President Biden has gone to Mississippi as president, a state he lost by more than 15 points. Governor Reeves was very praising of the president, welcoming of him and the assistance that the federal government is providing. It's a scene we've seen play out even with the likes of Ron DeSantis, where President Biden traveled to Florida this summer. They both again, praise the quick response of the federal and state government, the cooperation between the two.
