In magic when you're playing sealed deck or even a draft, you end up with this collection of cards. You choose which subset you're going to play and the remainder is your side board. So there was a lot of pressure to put a side board in key forge because so many people wanted that taste of construction. And I did entertain it but I resisted this idea of putting in the side board in part because it undermines the variety in the decks.
