Is There a Vigor in the Economy?
Economics is a discipline that takes the economy as its laboratory and has very successful in terms of grabbinga political power through its seemingly ability to predict, understand and intervene into this thing that ultimately it doesn't understand at all. It's more similar to the complex defence of a certain supernatural, cosmological view of the world. And sohe basically points out that economics really functions, or political economy used to function, ri the way that Economics really functions in telling us things about our world, is less similar to the way that like, nor like a lot of sciences function. The Copernican revolution was an assault on the cosmological principles which underbinds society right now.
