James Watson did discover the double helix in a dream, but it was a dream about walking up a staircase with another staircase into 20. Albert Einstein said that he thought of relativity because he had a dream where he was watching cows jump over a fence and a farmer was on the other side. Thomas Edison didn't have a dream,. but he actually just went fishing with the bamboo pole and was like, ah, I'll use this. Oh, it was in real life in spring.
