How Did You Get to New York?

Rat grew up in seattle, washington. His mam was actually from mongolia and his dad is from seattle. He came to new york at the age of 17 after graduating high school. When he was eight years old, his mum passed away really suddenly. And my dad struggled with like, really severe kind of substance abuse following her death. So just kind of being around that and not really understanding his behaviour has definitely had a lasting effect on me. I don't think i had dealt with until i went away.
