When i was growing up, empathy was a kind of unquestioned thing. Of course, i never thought of empathy as an ideology or a creed,. But i've since learned it was. Up until the sixties and seventies, social scientists and psychologists started to push it into he culture out of fear. By two thousand nine, the average young person measures forty % less empathetic than my generation. That is a lot do they just not believe in empathy any more.
