The Future of Air Conditioning

The national grid is now actually thinking about AC users like a peak driver, summer peak consumption. But the problem there is it's going to increase India's emissions which will just increase heat down the line. And then there's the HFCs which the gases are used in the ACs which have a significantly higher warming potential than carbon dioxide. I think we really need to figure out how to make air conditioning more renewable friendly and less warming.
