In 2022, Twitter added alt text descriptions and Mastodon let you know to camel case your hashtags. I think it's going to take a village of people who are really diligent and who care a lot about that to really sort of enforce that. Even big companies like Squarespace still delivering themes that do not pass contrast color accessibility checking.
