Introduction
Joel michael reynolds is an assistant professor of philosophy and disability studies at georgetown university. His work pushes us to ask difficult questions about the way in which our concepts of ability and disability are intertwined with seemingly more familiar structures of power, such as white supremacy, sexism and capital. He encourages us to develop a more critical and nuanced grasp of the mostly silent, but deeply sign link between bodies, normativity and power.
