I think what's really interesting about being an author of color is just the way that identity has been commodified in recent times. It makes me feel like I could be replaced by some other, you know, some very talented biracial Filipino author, like at any moment. That like that our work is just equal value, no matter what,. Like we're just sort of a revolving door.
