Is There a Beat Playing?
Poetry, by definition, puts a lot of freight in those words. The words are nearly always too heavy to make songs out of. They they sound awkward. They sound contrived. And there are very few exceptions to that. One of the only things i can think of is some that fugs song. It's called bury me in an apple orchard that i may taste your lips again. and they do it in walts time. Interestingly, whenever i have tried to do anything with poetry, i've found that walst time is a much, much better time to use.
