What's the Point of Keeping This in Mind?

This is a common tactic by journals, journalists and politicians of revealing intriguing but relatively innocent info to satisfy curiosity. For example, a politician accused of snorting cocaine may confess to having smoked marijuana at college. This occurs because the majority that favor C is misleadingly divided among different groups. And I think like Trump just Trump does it a lot. Like he sort of like says outrageous stuff on Twitter and that kind of thing. But much less serious, actual meaningful, serious bad stuff that he does or has done sees the light of day as everyone's too busy worrying about whatever random crap he's planning on Twitter. You know, true.
