The French Response to the War
The French response to the war has been an even precisely because Macron has a delusion I would say of even handedness. He seems to think that he knows best, he was a top Mandarin and the French civil service before he was briefly a banker. So he's used to sort of things running under his orders and the result is that he thought he could finesse it. The results speak for themselves and they're not good for Russia. And France sees herself as being between the two great blocks.
