Bitcoin Core

Bitcoin Core is a very big monolithic piece of software and that's never a healthy thing so he's trying to split it into little pieces. This type of separation might make it so that there's an extra line in defense where yeah you've compromised the node part of the software you haven't compromised the wallet. With this separation in place somebody can make a drop-in replacement for the UI that will have the exact same access to Bitcoin itself.
