The Importance of Specificity in Artificial Intelligence
I think some of this came out when I was having a conversation on the last podcast with Maria actually about this idea that maybe we haven't got like a very suitable language for intelligence system. Yeah and the word intelligence at least with the Council on Extended Intelligence now granted we still use the word intelligence but cognition or sort of like empirical data. Once you attribute a word like intelligence and people in the room who may not know the space equate that with being the same type of modality as human intelligence then again we go back to the sort of really messy kind of phrase artificial intelligence which is a lot of what we're trying to pull apart and delineate in our work.
