The Death of the Emperor Norton
In 1884 Mark Twain, Super Psychic, published The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn. A character in that novel known as The King is based on Emperor Norton. In keeping with the emperor's wishes, San Francisco Bay was eventually bridged.
