The Chaos of the Bullet Train Queue
When we went to get the bullet train back to Tokyo and they weren't running. Or rather, there was a massive queue. There were so many people showing up all at once when the trains just started running again. And you could tell the station staff were kind of scrabbling to organize the queue. After like an hour of then no movement at all, we then carried on. And it was just over four hours to get to the front. So few people ever have the opportunity to queue for a bullet train. Particularly out of the station. But what was the actual journey for? Under two hours.
