Is There Anybody Around the League That Is Clearly the Next Tier of Players?

Do coaches do this anymore? Is there anyone around the league who is kind of tactically deployed against second units or you know they want to be part of the best lineup at the end of the game. There have been guys that have existed in in between states like that left shrimp in the 90s, won a couple six man of the year awards for the Pacers. He was in and out of starting lineups both in Indiana and in Seattle.
