Active rewilding is about doing landscape works to recreate a landscape that we think should be there. It could involve tree planting or planting hedgerows or that kind of thing, but also it often means reintroducing species in the wild. There's some really interesting examples of this in cities such as Enfield which has released two beavers into an enclosed space around its river for flood prevention.
