Briton's response to refugees has been pretty tic, which seems incredibly callous bureaucracy and ridiculous excuses. All of the proposals that they've put forward at the minute for how they're going to allow ucranian refugees into the country are all still focused on propping up the same asylum system. What they need to do is kind of accept that this system is broken and failing it doesn't work in a slow crisis. It doesn’t work in a fast crisis. And they need to just basically allow people to enter the uk. And have their claims heard without like, a ridiculous evidence threshold and loads of burden and responsibility on that.
