The Life of a Monk

This is from the end of Clusiaco history. He says, I have spent all my life in this monastery applying myself entirely to the study of the scriptures. If he left, there's no more monasteries. There's just an abbot. It has always been my delight to learn or to teach or to write. And so it's kind of lovely to think about the fruits of educational effort and labor as somebody who teaches.
