The Slowdown in Banks Buying Treasuries
Banks are slowing down their pace of buying both treasuries and mortgage-backed securities. There was some volatility at the start of the pandemic when it just hit in March of 2020. But towards heading into 22, that has now come down to pretty much normal levels. DC also has a sub stack that he updates sometimes.
