The Black Hole in the Milky Way
There are small number of galaxies we've seen that have a black hole, but it's no longer at the middle. In one case, we've seen a supermassive black hole that's like displaced from the center and has a pretty high speed away from the center. And then there's another observation just a few weeks ago where they see a streak of light shooting out of the galaxy. The streak of light is like 200,000 light years long. And at the end of it, there's a black hole. We think that this might happen sometimes when galaxies merge. That's how we see these black hole mergers.
