The Three Elements of a Dramatic Story

i want to define these three elements so you can create them yourself in every story you tell, and i mean every story. You have to position the data points so they become the or the obstacle or the resolution. And if you have data points that don't fit one of those three categories, consider dropping them, or at the very least making them minor points. The common thread? Want, hope, longing, aspiration.
