The Contrast Between Moses and Jesus

Moses represents in the Old Testament among all the heroes who had intimate relations with God. He most explicitly battled his way through, I want to see your glory. And when John reads that he says, okay, I need to relate that to the glory that shows up in Jesus. Moses was giving the law and another grace comes through Jesus. There's a huge difference there, isn't there? Pointing to grace and performing grace.
