The Gap Between Math and Material-Based Explanations

I find that there's kind of a weird gaping hole in the academy somewhere between physics and philosophy where nobody wants to really get into that stuff. I think gravity is a great example because it was increasingly ascribed to material interactions like we developed this concept of math but still not totally clear how atoms are actually pulling on one another physically in a material sense. This is still relegated to the math. We can describe it very perfectly but that doesn't mean that we necessarily have a place to hang these explanations. That's the fascinating thing about human interacting with sentient beings that are consciously integrating, he says. "We will make objects that can, things that will do this"
