The Media Wants Donald Trump to Be the Republican Nominee

The media really wants Trump to be the Republican nominee because Trump sells newspapers. They think a Donald Trump's name and them dunking on him on a routine basis helps them, helps their bottom line. And they also think B, that Donald Trump is the nominee probably helps their favorite Democratic candidate. So if you see mainstream media cheerleading for Donald Trump, don't misinterpret that as, oh, well, maybe they're being fair again. It's cannon fodder for the meme war. Why put Tom Cruise on the cover of a tabloid? Because it sells tableau. That's why.
