George Chappell Ripper
In mid-June 1979, a tape arrived and was signed Jack the Ripper. Sunderland police tried their best to pinpoint the exact location in Sunderland where the letters were posted. In a matter of weeks, 200 employees had been traced. About one third of them provided a statement and an alibi. The only time they came near catching me was a few months back in Chappell town when I was disturbed. It was me and never listen. Well it'd be nice to meet you George.
