The Benefits of Notes for Students

If a lecturer provides the slides or their lecture notes before a lecture, like what to do with them? Do they take them in with them and try to follow along the usefulness of the supplement afterwards? What would be your suggestions in that context? Yeah, and students really like that idea because it does help them follow along. It helps them understand the structure of the lecture. And so they feel like they're understanding better, and they probably are. But on the other hand, they're missing out on the memory benefit. So I think for instructors, you just want to think about the pluses and minuses and think about what do I want to do?"
