The Distinction Between Demagogy and the Base

I think we saw with central planning kind of showed us in a pretty stark way that there's so much information in this world that the planners don't have. I thought it was very useful in identifying productive policies to move forward on and that was really an innovation that the administration came up with. We want some distance between maybe the public which can get pretty emotional and pretty upset and isn't always completely rational but you want them to experiment with some technocratic type ideas too.
