"We met with over 20 law enforcement officers before we even built the product," Frank Interac says. "If you're more comfortable approaching the vehicle, we know the whole interaction is going to be safer." The app was developed by a team of engineers based at Alexandria Tech in St. Paul, Minnesota. It's now being rolled out across seven U.S. jurisdictions and has received interest from Canada as well.
