How to Reproduce the Sounds of Vintage Samplers Inside the Computer
A sampling drum machine the MPC 60 from Akai was made in 1988 12 bits with an extended 40 kilohertz sample rate versus you know 26 from the SP 1200. It really does make a difference. There's a couple of new ish. The auto biscuit came from 2011. It's an 8 bit chip with variable sample rates from 250 to 30 kiloHertz. Give me a quick demo. So how hard is it to reproduce the sounds of these old boxes inside the computer? That was another question in mind. I wanted to do an AB against the original box and the emulations to see how they sound.
