Hierarchy is for me navigated with Excolibrine where I have the parent child relationship between nodes and lateral relationships. Everything on a nice structured graph view that I can navigate down up or to the side depending on whether I want to move up the hierarchy down the hierarchy or go in a lateral direction. For Wurman hierarchy is different than the way I use the word hierarchy because so Wurman is talking about comparing things from small to large from cheap to expensive  and when you're describing something you're placing it in its place in this hierarchy of size.
