I've been riding the New York subways for over 20 years. And I think it's because, and now we're going to get back into our old thing. They have often grown up with a sense of black masculinity is involving that certain kind of swagger. There are gentle black crates on the subway too, but there's a clear tendency. The US Congress has just had a proposal introduced by Representative Corey Bush of St. Louis to look at the federal instantiation of some kind of reparations system. This has been coming up in Congress for decades, but never acted on.
