My dream as a single parent was that I never wanted to be in a position where I was vulnerable. And having that and knowing that it's not just me that I'm responsible for, but I have two kids that I'm also responsible for. It really was a wake up call and it really forced me to turn a lot of things around. We still stretched all my dollars with the groceries and we made homemade pasta and he's noticed a block of pizza with another family with split pizza cost. But it wasn't like you know we were penny pinching and you know kept the lights off and you know a chips and whatever is.
