Saintsbury's used all the assets that sansburys had at their disposal to try and encourage people to break out of habitual behavior. The campaign encouraged consumers to purchase several items they wouldn't usually buy, ultimately generating saintsbury's a staggering two point five billion in extra sales that year. In one week alone, sales of nutmeg rose from one thousand 400 to six thousand jars. Richard makes a good point, however, saintsburys are just one of a handful of brands who could pull off a campaign like this.
