Is Mark Meadows Secretly Cooperating?

There's been some suggestion that he might be cooperating already because DOJ didn't bring contempt of Congress charges against him despite a referral. I don't buy the theory that Mark Meadows is secretly cooperating in a meaningful way with DOJ, there's no specific evidence on that. He was temporarily cooperating with the committee many months ago, but he stopped and the committee tried to get him prosecuted for contempt. The guidance within DOJ is you need to be confident that you can prove your case beyond a reasonable doubt before you charge it. That is the highest standard in our legal system.
