DeSantis Suspends a Progressive Prosecutor
On Wednesday, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis announced that he was suspending Monique Whirl as state attorney for Orange and Osceola counties. This is the second time this governor has removed a democratically elected state attorney from office. A federal judge ruled last year that DeSantis had acted unconstitutionally in removing Hillsborough County state attorney Andrew Warren. CNN's John Sutter will talk with Warwell about why she believes her suspension should be upheld.
