What Does It Mean to Suffer?

The word suffer has changed its meaning a little bit over the years. Today, when they suffer, we often meet the experiential aspect of evil. In the older sense or in the broader sense, suffer simply means to allow or to undergo. But even this description is incomplete because anytime we speak about God we're at best speaking analogously.
