Voters Vote for the First Time in 40 Years

VSA volunteers raised $5.2 million and filled with 46,672 volunteer shifts to help elect progressives across the country. Democrats won governors races in Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, Kansas, New York, Massachusetts, Maryland, Minnesota, and Michigan. Voters enshrined abortion rights in the state constitutions of California, Michigan, and Vermont while Kentucky rejected an abortion ban. Missouri and Maryland legalized marijuana. Nebraska raised the minimum wage in South Dakota expanded Medicaid.
