Pranavi: Expedia believes Hopper is essentially confusing, pressuring, or otherwise manipulating their customers into spending more money. Pranavi: Although it seems that Expedia planned and delivered its notice in an anti-competitive attempt to cause disruption to Hopper's business, there will be no impact at all. "No online travel company that I know of, no other one charges consumers a tip without them knowing it," he says.
