If you know you're avoiding something, focus on that for a moment. Notice how those outcomes would affect you. Now start to appreciate thatthat who you are is stable and strong at its core. Just in this moment, as you have withstood it, so too will you withstand whatever happens. There will be pain, but you are strong enough. This person that you are in this moment is strong enough. But just as you've found this state, you can find this state again.
