The Importance of Brand Recognition on Your Resume
People forget that there are thousands, tens of thousands of companies that are not in the tech industry. Hospitals, banks, little local companies in your neighborhood and city probably needs a UX designer. People believe this allure that if you have Google or Netflix on your resume, it's like a golden ticket for the rest of your career. But I've also seen a lot of horrible resumes and portfolios from people at all of these companies.
